Who is Isle of Man Urology?

Isle of Man Urology service is provided by Mr Stephen M Upsdell MB BS, FRCS (Ed), FRCS (Lon), MD (Lon), FEBU, a consultant urologist at Noble’s hospital since 2002. Stephen lives on the Isle of Man permanently and works full time at Noble’s hospital as the single NHS consultant on the Island, as well as working in private practice. Stephen qualified as a doctor from Charing Cross Hospital, University of London in 1979 and worked in the UK until 2002 when he moved to the Isle of Man. He is trained as a general adult and children’s urologist and is on the GMC specialist register for urology which means he is experienced in seeing and treating a broad range of urology conditions.

Stephen has recently been successfully revalidated by the General Medical Council (GMC) and his licence to practise medicine renewed for a further 5 years. Successful revalidation means that the GMC are satisfied that he is up to date in his specialty and fit to practise.
